This specification covers an aircraft-quality, low-alloy steel in the form of heat treated bars and forgings.These products have been used typically for parts with sections 1.0 inch (25 mm) and under in nominal thickness requiring a minimum tensile strength of 125 ksi (862 MPa), but usage is not limited to such applications.
