This slide presentation outlines information on impact fees. It begins with defining impact fees and describing their purpose. Three different approaches are outlined along with intergenerational equity and conservation price signals. A Colorado test case for impact fees is outlined, including the following points:hypothetical solution to a newdevelopment's request for a different lookat assessing impact fees; large-scale development;water saving in-home devices; low wateruse landscapes; and,in proximity to proposed non-potable Citysystem.
