This slide presentation outlines information on a project to bring the City of East Moline Water Treatment Plant into compliance with the Interim Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule and the Disinfectants/Disinfection Byproducts Rule (D/DBPR). Other concerns included: meeting the requirements of future regulations such as the Filter Backwash Rule and the Stage 2 Microbial and D/DBPR, ensuring proper chemical pretreatment, ensuring proper rapid mix and flocculation, and reducing finished water turbidity.
