Implementing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) will cause manywater and wastewater professionals to ask the obvious question, "How much moneywill the system cost?" The real question is, "How much money will the systemsave?" The objective of this paper is to provide an understanding for the returnon investment provided by implementing a CMMS. Five entities nationwide sharetheir results having implemented computerized systems. Daily activities includeoperation and maintenance management of a water and/or wastewater system.
