This paper discusses Florida's reuse and other related rules associated withcross connection control and the various programs involved in the properpermitting, initiation, inspection, and maintenance of cross connection controlprograms. The paper also examines several existing cross connection controlprograms associated with reuse projects in Florida and presents the results of asurvey conducted to evaluate existing cross connection control programs of reuseand drinking water utilities located in areas where reclaimed water is used forirrigation of residential properties and public access areas in Florida.
