An evaluation was performed for the Kentucky-American Water Company to assess the capability of the company's treatment plants to meet current and future regulations dealing with treatment adequacy, disinfection, and disinfection byproducts. This paper describes the treatment process at each plant, summarizes pertinent water quality parameters, and presents the results of disinfection byproduct formation experiments.
